wheel hub design 1 & 2 interchangable?
SORRY if that has been covered before but I have the wheel hubs with the abs sensor on the dustplate are these interchangable with the design that is directly connected to the hub itself? Im going to get some hubs off ebay because I cannot afford timkens right now and my abs sensor is ripped, I tried splicing it but it didnt last long... Thanks.
Now my secondary question. I know one is bad because there is movement at 12 & 6 this can only be a wheel bearing right? Also The other one it happened twice now ill be on the highway and ill hear a humming from the wheel bearing and when I get off on the exit the slower I go the louder it gets "like as airplane taking off" as one other member described when he had a problem with his hub that sounded like mine... Anyone familiar with this does it sound like a hub?

Well i was just gonna make a thread kind of like this, But i guess ill post it here instead. Yes you can go from the older design to the 1 piece hub & abs ss, the plug for the abs sensor is the same on both setups, im not 100% sure if the spindle is still the same, i did not check that because i already have a complete swap setup of spindle, hub, caliper&bracket i wanted to get away from the older style brakes along with the hubs, i prefer the newer style dual piston calipers i just looked into this yesterday because my wheel bearings are bad, i changed them for now until i get a chance to swap the spindles around. just look at advance auto parts at a 96 and a 97 blazer spindle to see if they have the same part number if they do then you would be good to go with leaving the old spindle.hope that helps you out some

What are you driving cause it shouldn't be. The wheel hub should bolt to the spindle and the axle goes though it.
