Default Where is the T-case vacuum switch located?

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer LT, V6, 4WD. My 4WD quit working a few days back and after reading through several threads I believe I have properly diagnosed the problem.

The vacuum lines going back to the transfer case are disconnected so I think that my issue a broken vacuum switch on the transfer case. The problem is that I can't seem to locate it. Can it be accessed from underneath the vehicle? Do I have to remove parts to get to it? Any help would be appreciated. What do I need to do to get it out or at least get a closer look at it?

on my 98, I got at it on the drivers side, not sure if I removed a skid plate. took 5 min.
Get one first so you have the proper wrench and only go under once!
