Default whoe is me, another fuel pump :(

Ok so the blazer started acting up Tues. when I left work, hit the gas leaving the parking lot and she backfired and died. Restarted and seemed ok till I hit the gas, anything more then touching the pedal would make it misfire and die. Well I limped it along to my Doc. appointment then home...well almost. It died about 3/4 of a mile from home, took me about 5 min to get it to restart but had the hold the rpm's to about 2000, two footed it to my street where it died again, I managed to coast about 50 yards turn into my driveway and stick the front into a snow bank. Had to use a come along and all of my tow straps and tie downs to pull it up into the garage. Found out the check valve in the fuel pump had gone bad, when I hit the key pressure would jump to 65-70 psi the drop off immediatly. So in goes another pump. Ok now I have good pressure but still no start. After much swearing I discovered that during all of the misfiring the connection on the fuel injector (spider injector) had come loose. Pushed it on and she fired right up!
