When I purchased my 4 dr from the dealership last year the guy had just replaced the driver side window motor. Now fast forward a year and the damn thing stops working out of nowhere. I have no knowledge whatsoever with windows, but when i unscrewed part of the panel to test it i could see that the regulator was still working. If i try to push down/up on the switch it makes a noise like its working, but the window doesnt move...
Also happened to my passenger side just a few days ago, except the passenger side motor makes no noise when testing it. Help....?

if its like clicking but not working the motor could be bad. just replaced one the other day on a customers car. i smacked it with a hammer and got it working again but replaced it anyways cause it was grounding out on itself.
its possible it could be bad if they bought cheepo parts. but the way it works is there will be two wires going to the motor. one will be positive the other will be negative. you can run your own wires to it to see if the motor will work. doesnt matter which way you hook it up. one way will be up, reverse it and it will go down. that way to be sure the motor doesnt work
