Probably a failed washer pump in the bottle. Check the wires with a multimeter. If you have power at the pump, then you need to remove the pump and see if you can check for restrictions that may have locked the pump. If you cannot find anything, you will have to replace the pump.

Just did some tests:

*Both washer pumps,
pump when hoooked directly to battery.

*Hooked up multi tester to wiper motor connection, shows voltage when activating wipers from inside vech.

I am feeling it is safe to start assuming the motor assembly that moves the wipers is the culprit.

So what is happening? The washer (thing that sprays the windshield) does not work? Or the wipers themselves do not work??

Thanks Swartllk,
No Nothing works when trying to activate some needed fluid on front windsheild.just that faint "click".
When both washer motorpumps are hooked up directly tobatterythen they pump washerfluid.Other than thatpower is getting up to the wiper assembly but not through it.

I tried all sort of searches in forum, but alas, i remainuseless at such findings of links to past issues.

Have a look at the Fix for cold solders in the Wiper Motor post I made a long while ago. Give that a try and see what turns up. May be a quick, easy, and cheap fix or you may have to replace the wiper motor.

Update:

I took it apart, resoldered those mentionedareas, reassembled hooked it back up..DRAT!..still dull 'click'.
Started thinking about getting something going as it is rainingconstantly outside/dangerous with no wipers.Looked at my old 88 pick up to see if swap was do able..and now a shock..
YUP!! My old 88 fits right in there, hooks up to the connection perfectly..the bolt holes line right up! thats 2 things that are interchangable with my 88 truck, the alternator hooks right up too, though ihad to take the connection clip off, as that was another story i had to tryonce before asi was in a pinch that time to.

I was so thrilled on this wiper situation though,so i took the one off my blazer and hooked it up to my truck and..the blazer motor worked beautiful,BUT my excitement left me real quick as i know now the problem is somewhere in the steering column.
Be back for another update..please leave any thoughts on my current situation if able.
