Default Winning noise outside on drivers side toward back of blazer

Ok it is me agian. I just replaced the a/c compressor and now I have this strange wining noise coming from more or less drivers side toward back tires? I am wondering if it is the fuel pump I have never noticed it before? Any ideas on this? I do not think it has anything to do with a/c. Are there any vaccume lines back there?

does the noise disappears when you drive faster or it is always the same noise because could be your u joint too

Really, ok so thus is what I did went out started it and in park gave it some gas and the sound got better after a minute or so it was still there but not as loud. I think that sounds better than the fuel pump how hard is that to change can I do it ya think....

The Charcoal canister is right behind the drivers side rear tire, could have a vacuum line unhooked.

EDIT

The fuel pumps on the rigs tend to be rather noisy, mine is really loud- you can hear it over the motor.

When my u-joints went bad it sounded like marbles inside a tin can, not really a whining noise.
Not saying that's not the problem, just that they usually clunk, rattle, or you get a vibration while driving. Not a whining noise.

Ok I am thinking the sound is just the fuel pump however I do not remember out being so loud. Do you think it is getting ready to bite the dust

I can guarentee you that the problem is a fuel pump. I have the same noise and everyone I took it to says its the pump. The problem is that I have to change the gas tank with it due to rust so its gonna be a project in the future when I have the funds lol.
