this is a very rare occasion but just yesterday (this has happended to me before) i was putting up my driver front window up and it just stop i pushed the switch over and over and nothing but as soon as i put another window down and back up my button works fine

 

that happended to me a couple of times and what i did is that i turn the ignition off and back on and it worked fine

 

well it is most likely the window motor itself. Happened to me a few times on mine also. Replaced the motor and it never happened again.
