Default chiltons just doesnt cover this one well.

ive posted this before and got help but never got around to fixing it. dang tilt wheel wobbles all over the place and its gotten to the point where its pinching wires. ive been told its easy to tighten up but im so stuck its not even funny. i cant get any further then moving the turn signal stuff aside. after that i have no idea how to detach the rest. ive been told that after the first lock ring theres one more further down that removes the rest but ive been unable to do this. im preparing to put the truck up for sale so id like to fix this very unattractive problem.
ok so what am i not seeing? maybe unplug the harness to get the wires and junk to move up further?
ive already got the lock ring puller and wheel puller and was told thats all id need outside of sockets and such., is this correct?
sorry for reposting this i couldnt find my old post. thanks in advance.

Sorry for such a late reply, I haven't checked in here lately.
I think I have a column in my shed, if I do I'll try to find the time to dissassemble it in the next few days and post some pics.
I know there are 4 bolts that loosen up and cause the problem but it's been a while since I've actually looked at one.

Do you still need the info?
I started to dissassemble the column in my truck and it was going well until I realised that I was missing a tool to remove the shifter bowl pins.
I can show you a few pics so that you have an idea of what you have to go through to do the job.
The first pic shows that I disconnected the t/signal wiring to get more slack to pull the signal switch.
The second pic shows one of the 4 torx bolts that need tightening
The third pic shows one of the 2 pins that need to be removed to complete the job.
