Well, today when got out of work into the frozen tunrda, i went to clear my winshield and the wiper got stuck, then finnally moved. Now, it doesnt wipe in the correct pattern it should. Sometimes it wont go far enough, other times it will go past the winshield and not return to its normal position. Is there a bolt that needs to be tightened or is the whole control arm shot? Any help would be appreciated. Wouldnt you know its the drivers side too?

Haha I've blown a few wiper motors trying to clear snow/ice off the windshield..best bet is to use an ice scraper brush thing. Hopefully the motor just jumped a cog or two..one of the other guys should be piping up here soon with an answer for ya

yes there is a bolt. go to the base of the wiper arm. there is a black plastic cover that you can pop off pretty easy. there isI believe a 10mm or so bolt that you can tighten down!

Or in my opinion, I have had the same problem on my 94' S1O and the were no teeth left of the wiper arm where it connected to the internal assembly. the teeth on the pin were not stripped because it is hardened steel and not aluminum like the arms. for the quick fix i just tore of a piece of cloth and put it on top of the pin and shoved the arm back on and tightened the crap out of the nut.
