So does the turn signal switch have anything to do with the wiper system? I'm having the same issues. they only turn on every now and then and i only get one good wipe out of them before they shut off completely. (kinda like TP if ya know...) but yeah can someone sum up how to do this real quick? It's almost winter and no mechanic places will help.

The first place to look is the pulse board. I wrote a how-to on re-soldering the connections that typically break or suffer from cold solder effects. If that checks out fine, then you can look at the wiring and see if you are getting the proper power/ground at the motor. The multifunction switch does control the wipers, but typically fails in other areas rather than have a problem with the wipers, but this thread goes against that notion.

Default wiper

i fond out it was my switch and they are hard to find chevey no longer supplies them i have to look for it on the internet to find mine you might be lucky to find one at a salvage yard i can tell you that the orange wire is always hot and the green wire is hot for the switch so if you have power to the switch but not away from it then the switch went bad if you do then you have a broken wire some where

Turns out my connector switch isn't being consistent in giving the electrical signals to the board. gotta love zip ties!

Default rear wiper

on the 95 thru 98 blazer the rear wiper has it's own switch which if it goes bad is hard to fine so if you have that yr . and your looking for parts for it and you see one better grab it because they are few and far between the yellow wire is the hot wire to the switch the orange wiper at the motor is hot from the battery i got mine to work some so now i am trying to fine a good rear wiper motor for my 95 blazer
