Default Wiper Problems

Ok so when i have my wipers on there is times that they will automatically speed them selfs up to low automatically even when i have them on for only 1 click or maybe 2. To make it stop i even turn the wipers onto off and they will continue to go for about 10 seconds then shut off. It even does it when im washing the windows and i turn the wipers to off it goes for a few seconds then shuts off. Maybe a bad switch? Just want to fix it

had this problem on my 90 fullsize. it was the circuit board part of the wiper. mine would not work sometimes. and delay was always low then the sprayers wouldnt work. i tore it apart, cleaned everything and put it back together and it worked fine

This is a common problem with the fullsizes. There's usually a wire that comes undone. On mine its one screw and It pulls right off really easy. I thought it was the column switch too

Actually ho I figured It out was when I used mist the wipers would go like 10 times and stop wherever. So I tapped on the motor with a hammer and it would work normal
