Wire
Good morning, When I was changing my spark plugs yesterday, unfortunately the boot separated from the wire on cylinder 1. The wires are not old, maybe 3 years.
I was able to push the end back in firmly and the truck seems to be running ok, but I wanted to see what everyone thought about it. I’m not so secure on the thought that it separated at one point.
I looked around and found a straight wire for cylinder 6, but no dice on cylinder 1, unless someone knows of a part number? I’d hate to buy just a whole new set of wires. Do you think I even need to replace the wire?

Thanks To, from a reliability standpoint it would make the most sense to replace the wire. I ordered a new set of wires.
the old wires don’t have 30k on them, and unfortunately I don’t have long left with this truck, rust has taken its toll. Im trying to make the best of it and it seemed hard to buy a whole new set of wires.
