Default Won't start after body lift

I took my time installing a PA body lift in my 1999 blazer. Time meaning here and there within a 2 week span. My blazer won't start now. It fired for about a second and now only turns. The only electrical items touched were a few ground connections which have been reconnected with clean metal on metal contact. It doesn't take long for the battery to drain trying to start it. I did replace the alternator a while back. Do you think I could use a new battery? I don't know how old it is since I'm the second owner but I had no issue starting it before the BL install. The battery was out of the blazer for almost 2 weeks as well. Thanks.

Think how long the battery stayed in the store before you bought it! You could always put it on a trickle charger overnight. Dont use fast charger if at all possible.

I've tried jumping it too and the engine just turns and won't fire.

Passlock is the factory anti-theft system. If it is locking up there will be a security light flashing on your dash while you crank the engine.

Yes briefly. Then stalls out again.

I'm not seeing the security light flash when I try to turn over the engine.

Take the key out of the ign.
place your ear next to the left rear tire.
have a friend insert the key and turn past the first click (acc) to the to the second click (run) position.
do you hear the fuel pump run for three sec then quit?
report back.
