ZR2 Jimmy Highrider
After experiencing regret for the 3rd time after selling my ZR2 Blazer a 3rd time i bought a 2005 ZR2 Jimmy. This one is however unlike any ZR2 i've had or seen. Added to the ZR2 sticker on t6he rear quarter is the word HIGHRIDER. It has a console shift and all the options but i can't find anything on the highrider. As the ZR2 sticker is identical to the factory and the Highrider letters are connected and in the same colors I am sure it's factory. It also has a matching sticker under the doors above the rocker that says REBEL. It also seems to sit higher but has the factory suspension. Yesterday I ran into someone at the grocery store and he had the Sonoma ZR2 version which was also a Highrider. He said they came with a 3 inch factory lift. I have 31 inch tires which clear the wheels which was a problem with my previous ZR2s when you turned all the way. Has anyone heard of these Highrider editions. I believe the Jimmy ZR2 is Canadian only but there is a lot of knowlege here. Thanks.
So to what I've ever come across, the high rider option was on the gmcs... I want to say that the decals was options as very little zr2 sonomas and Jimmy's have them, ortowhat I've seen anyways.
Not sure if its anything different then the chevy blazer zr2.
Any pics of this ride?

It's storming with high winds and pouring rain so not tonight. I'll post some tomorrow. There are 3 ZR2 Jimmy's near me and they all have the ZR2 sticker. In fact I've never seen a ZR2 without one unless it was removed. There is a 2013 post where a veteran member says the Highrider was just another name for ZR2 but they didn't have the ZR2 RPO code but I have the ZR2 code and the Highrider is part of the factory sticker so it's not either or. I also discovered that Rock Auto refers to the GMC Jimmy "High Rider" in 2 words for some of their suspension pars. So it's still a mystery in progress.
I've seen a few ZR2s in my area as well with this graphic. They weren't a special ZR2+ edition. It's just a graphic added to some GMC ZR2 Sonomas and Jimmys.
The Highrider decal is likely a graphic either the dealer added, or was a trim decal feature added in certain years.
The ZR2 RPO is typically listed as the "Highrider package" or the "Higher-wider package" in an RPO description.

Yes I am aware of that but they also have a 3 inch factory lift while the ZR2 package includes a 2 inch lift. Being that the Jimmy ZR2 was only available in Canada there might not be much known in the US.
No offence, but do you have any proof that they had a different lift than any other ZR2? I'm certain that it is the exact same ~3" lift as on any other factory ZR2. Looking at sources online, it appears that all ZR2s had a 3" lift with the track width increased by approximately 3.9". These changes were accomplished through changes to the frame mounts for the control arms and the leaf spring mount points.
It's unfortunate that zr2usa.com is no longer available. They were a fantastic source for information on pretty much all aspects of the ZR2 S-series trucks.

In other words, your vehicle really isn't a mystery. It is a standard Jimmy High Rider with a console shift.
Today as I am contemplating selling my GMC Jimmy Highrider for 6 grand offered by a kid who is obsessed with it but I regretting selling other ZR2s and doubt I'll ever find another "Highrider". I am surfing Facebook Marketplace and posted only 58 minutes is a 2004 Jimmy which I notice has the ZR2 flairs for $1500 with suspected tranny problems. I drive over there to beat anyone else and much to my surprise it has the Highrider sticker under the ZR2 which is factory. Even more surprising is there on the rocker is the same "Rebel" sticker. Although I didn't mention it mine had another sticker on the tailgate that said FX Edition which also has the same FX Emblem on the front seat headrests which I assumed was some aftermarket addition. Low and behold when I open the doors this 2004 Jimmy ZR2 also has the same FX Edition seats and sticker on the tailgate. Recalling your comment I looked for a dealer chrome on the tailgate and there was one identifying it from another Province (like a state). It also has the 3 inch lift unlike the ZR2 Blazer with the 2" factory lift. So this isn't a dealer option nor was there 2 owners who coincidentally added the same decals and the same FX Edition seats living a few thousand miles away in another part of the country. This means in both 2004 and 2005 GMC Canada which is the only place you could by a ZR2 Jimmy had a factory option with the "Highrider", the Rebel", and the "FX Edition". Highrider is not highwider. Unfortunately these ZR2s just don't have much information and because the Jimmy was not available in the US, there is even less. I will be posting pictures of both tomorrow to see if I can generate some leads to solving this mystery.
