HOW TO: Flaming River U-Joint Mod
Nice job! Great write up! If the vehicle has tilt steering wheel, don't forget to check the upper U joint as well, (#25 in the image below). When they wear, they can create just as much, if not more slop, than the rag joint. Very expensive part... had to check countless vehicles in the boneyard before I found a good one.


This thread is specific to the S-series trucks and does not directly apply to the K5. Although the flaming river u-joint might work just as well on the K5. I'm not sure though as I have not looked into it.
