That looks great! I really like how you mounted the hi-lift to the carrier. I think I might do that to mine. It's currently on my roof rack.

mine used to be on the roof as well but im wating on a 2 inch body lift so it would make it hard to reach the jack so decided to mount it on the tire rack looks alot cleaner. just wanna buy a roof rack to haul gas containers and a tool box up top for recovery gear

This thread inspired me to do the same to my vehicle and I got so excited that I had to post. I picked up my tire carrier off a 2-door jimmy at pick-n-pull for $10 during their half off sale the other day and finally got around to sanding and painting it today. There will be more pictures once it is installed!

I dont really have time to read through all of this, so this has probably been answered somewhere in this post, sorry guys. But I have a 2 door, does that mean that i have to find a tore mount for a 2 door or does it not matter how many doors?

NO it dont What matters is that it comes from an 2nd GEN body. Also 4 doors dont have tire carriers stock ... Other then that your gonna find one on a 2 door any ways.

O sweet thanks!! I need it on the back so I actually ave space on the inside of my blazer for when i go camping.

Yep If your trucks an 1999 Make sure you remove it off an 2nd gen body
