as the title says i am trying to find out the speaker depth for the fronts and rear on an 04 4 door. i would measure it myself, but my blazer is in GA while i'm in AK until the 15th. I'm trying to order everything ahead of time so i can install when i get to GA for training. Right now i am looking at the RF punch componet 6.5 set which has a mounting depth of roughly 2.5 inches. Is this too deep? if so would a 1/2 inch spacer give me enough room and still leave room away from the door panel? Thanks in advance

 

I can't remember the exact number anymore but I don't think you'll have any trouble with the depth on that set. That being said I absolutely recommend ditching the flimsy factory plastic baffles with some good wood ones anyway. You'll have better bass response, cleaner midrange, and overall better performance and output. Also, a little sound deadener would go a long way with that.
