1993 blazer sub question

Those are actually pretty good subs but the price that they have on them is kinda high, 94 db at 1att/ 1 meter is respectable but to get those to pound you need very clean sound,preferebly a 4-5 volt preamp on your headunit and count on shelling mucho dinero on a good amp or they will lack in response.also download blaubox or a comparible box calculater to determine the right box size.dont count on a aftermarket box to be right,they are mass produced for average speaker size and dont take into account the speakers mass(displacement)this makes all the difference when it comes to a good system and a great system.

Oh and i dont know how you plan on mounting the amp,but please dont mount it to the friggin box like some that i have been seeing on here.the vibrations that a box generates with destroy the integrity of the amps internals.just an fyi in case because mounting locations are kinda limited in blazers.

probably the back of the rear seat?

Thats fine. Thats where I have mine mounted. I built a mounting panel, attached to the the rear seats. Then I mounted everything on there.

now that is a great example of how to properly mount your amp or amps.good job unlimitedsp!i have a pic of my mustang's system that i did as my first professional job back in the 90's tell me what you think.please remember i was a noob and still learning but the hardest part was porting under the convertible top,god it was a nightmare!
