Default 1995 Help.

Hey,
So im sure its already on here somewhere I just couldnt find. Im looking to replace the deck in my 95. I have everything already I just cant seem to get the dash out. I know there are 2 screws above the cluster but when I take them out it seems to get stuck on the column shifter. Is there an easier way to get it out or do I have to force it out and hope nothing brakes?

Try putting it into 1st gear (shifter all the way down) WITHOUT THE TRUCK RUNNING. And with the parking brake on just in case. I'm not sure that's the best way to do it as I have never taken mine off. But i have looked at it pretty close. Anyone else?

Ended up getting it out and system is all wired and working, had to do that exact trick as well as taking almost everything out and forcing some things to move that probable shouldnt have moved. Ill post some pics of it as a whole and the system itself as soon as I get some taken.
