Default 2000 LT Blazer 4 Door Help!!

I just purchased a fully loaded 2000 lt blazer, got a really good deal on it. It doesnt have the bose surround sound option and sadly most of the speakers are blown. I know nothing about creating a good sound system at all, i could build you a motor no problem though .My budget is 200$ and i want to replace all 4 door speakers and my car has two tweeters in the dash, i was hoping to replace them with 4x6? im not sure how it really works though. What do you guys suggest. What i found was the kenwood KFC-4675C and the Kenwood KFC-16645 . How are these speakers? Let me know what you guys suggest!!

$200 isn't much of a budget for a "good" sound system, at least by my definition of the word good, lol.

Is that $200 for just the six replacement speakers, or is that for the speakers and a new HU?

Knowing which way you're intending to go will help recommend equipment more precisely.

Thanks to Alton and others on here, I recently did the very thing you're wanting to do on a very similar truck. I came in at just over $200. All from ebay, all brand-new in box.

JBL GTO628 speakers - $50 pair x 2 = $100 (BIG thanks to Alton for recommending these)
head unit - $95
Metra dash install kit(the one with the pocket under the HU), radio adapter and wiring harness - $27
(I already had a set of JBL 4x6's for the dash, but if I didnt, I would not have use any)

Grand Total = $222

The real trick to me, is buying last year's models. You can save a ton of money that way and you're still getting brand new in the box stuff. The HU for example... this year's model is about $100 more than last years, and by using ebay I saved almost $150 on just that. If I had went to the local stereo shop, the exact same gear was over $550.

Well, there's not been any other updates here so I'm going to toss a couple of suggestions out there.

I would highly suggest the Polk Audio DB6501 components for the front and DB651 coax's for the back. You can mount the tweeters from the component set anywhere that sound good to you in the front and forget the 4x6's because you won't need them. You can go HERE and HERE and stay within your $200 budget and get some good sound at the same time.

If you just absolutely have to have the 4x6's then I found a place selling two sets of the DB651 coax's for $125 and then these Polk 4x6's for $55 and you're still inside the $200 budget.

Hope that helps lend a machete to your decision making thicket.
