I want to reclaim my cupholder. Anyone have a solution for a magnetic mount that puts the phone just to the right of the steering wheel? I'd rather avoid a vent mount if there's no better option.

 

There's ones that use double sided tape which uses a magnet to hold the phone... works great... Amazon has them... no link but a quick search will provide what your searching for

 

I saw plenty of the sticky ones but they're all mounted on the horizontal dash surface. I kinda want it lower like mid steering wheel. I can't see that holding on a vertical surface. I could drill mounting holes if that space below the start button allows but I wanted to avoid something intrusive like that.
