Here's the build up I did last Winter for my 1992 GMC Jimmy 4dr. I'm hoping this next summer to maybe do some modifications on both the high and substage with possibly RE 6.5" comps. in the rear doors and Infinity 4x6" plate speakers in the front both amp'd, smaller sub box with 2 AQ HDC315s and an AQ 2200D amp and a variety of various add-ons (deadening, relocating crossovers, rear tints). Let me know what you think...
Box is 3/4" MDF approx. 7.8^3 ported (6" dia. PVC ports), carpeted
4 MA Audio MA121XQs
Hifonics 1606D Brutus amp

5-Sided Box!

Ports w/o Bracing

Ports Braced

Finished

Back Angle of Box matches angle of back seat

Installed

It's after port displacement...i dont remember the exact dimensions off the top of my head but i do know it fits snug in between the wheel wells, the height matches the height of the back seat, and the length goes from the seat to about 4" from the rear gate...if that means anything...

Yea I don't think thats 7.8 after port displacement. Not saying you're wrong but that box looks tiny for almost 9-10 cubes net.

I want to say the tuning is about 32hz...i dont remember the exact numbers for this box since it was built over a year ago.
I think the approx. the dimensions were 17x27x34...not for sure tho just an estimate, so a little over 9 cubes before ports, and the back is angled a little so that adds to it.
O and 01vortec 36x30x16 does equal 10 cubes... do (36)(30)(16) and divide by 1728. And it isnt tiny trust me, gettin that thing out is such a pain since its prlly around 150-175lbs w/ subs.
A Team...ya it was kinda overkill but it looks good in person. I'm redoing pretty much the whole system this next summer depending on how the cash flow goes. Just wanted to see what ppl think of it since this was built by 2 high schoolers w/ not the greatest amount of knowledge in box building.
