Default 96' Stereo!

Just bought a 96 4dr LT and there was no stereo or bezel in it, so I bought an after market bezel for 88' to 05' and it still doesn't fill the hole so I went to the dealership and the guy came out and looked at it and said WHOA! that's a big hole, we looked at the schematics and it looks like it should fit but it's to small. ? is there supposed to be something else that I'm missing?

Hahaha...it's missing the little pocket thing.

Good luck finding that!

Get a double din that fills the entire area.

$20?

Kinda pricey.

I bet you could find one in a junk yard/pick and pull for like $1 or $5 at most.

or make one.

That's kinda like some guy wanting $35 for the sleeve/case thing for my head unit. fn' ridiculous.

But hey, $20 isn't too bad. I would get it if that's what you need.

Remember, you still need a single din kit on top of that (another $20)

Ok guy's, finally went to the dealership and was able to get the storage and new front plate for $54.00, now to go get a new stereo, cut the face plate and install

Oh ya, I went online and bought one of those after market kits and it didn't fit, to small, "FYI" better off going to the dealship and buying the right stuff!
