Aftermarket CD Deck Install Troubles

Aftermarket CD Deck Install Troubles
Hi
I just purchased a Pioneer DEH 3200UD cd deck to replace the old tape deck that was in my 1st gen. Blazer(94). After connecting all the wires I was excited to start up the blazer and... Nothing. I have 0 power to the deck. So I went back through and checked all of my connections. I haven't done much as far as aftermarket audio installations and by no means would I say I really know a lot about it. After having a look at the old cassette deck I noticed there is no yellow batt. mem. wire. I was thinking maybe to check if there is any voltage coming from the batt mem wire from my blazer. That should be a constant power right? But even would that make a difference on why my deck isn't working? As far as I know it should be able to run off the red acc ignition wire no?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I've already gone through all of that information before I posted. I'm 100% positive that I've hooked all the right wires up. I was looking for help as to where to start looking as to what my be the problem.

Was the factory harness in place when you started or simply bare wires?

Check your fuses make sure you didn't blow it somehow as well.

There was a harness in there. I believe it was from the cassette deck that was in there. It was not a stock deck.
Also I figured I may have to check my fuses, but I'm not sure on what's going on in there.

Just in case anyone was following this, I don't have any power to my battery memory wire, which is why I didn't get any power to the deck. For now I just attached the Batt. mem. from the deck in with the igntion wire. And now I have power. It's gettin late where I'm at, so I don't think I will try get power to the batt. mem. until tomorrow. First things first, check my fuses....

Yeah fuses are always the first thing to check. Let us know its hard to help with stereo stuff since we can't see it/trace it and we don't know if its been butchered up by the last owner.

I got it going. Went out with a flashlight. It wasn't fuses, there was just no power to the battery memory. So after running some fresh wire and a little bit of struggling I have my new pioneer hooked up and pumping. I was actually really amazed at the sound coming from the speakers. It was as if I installed a whole new system.

Well that's good to hear that you got it going.
