Default Aftermarket HU install help

I am installing a new head unit in my 94 full size silverado sport. I got the old radio and tape deck/equilizer out. I have the wiring harness for the new radio. I can't seem to find the speaker wires for the back speakers or the right front speakers. Am I missing something? Please help!

I cut it as close to the original unit as I could get and then cut open the black wrap that was around them.

That's your mistake, honestly.

I just don't understand why people don't buy a damn harness adapter and avoid these problems, they're not that expensive at all.

Here's a website with the wire colors. Click on THIS LINK and it should help you out. Next time just spend the extra ~$10 and get harness adapter, then all you have to do is match color to color and plug it in.

Maybe, though they sell them with the other installation accessories (dash kits, etc.) so they're kinda hard to miss.

(jack) Yeah, they're available from PartsExpress and SonicElectronix quite easily. However, unless you're actually having problems with dirt and moisture affecting the speakers I wouldn't waste money on them. (unjack)
