So you have two TypeR's and a single mono amp? What are you trying to split and what exactly do you mean by "running one 4 channel"

Your first post makes sense, I must have misread it the first time.

Like vin791 said, it will work fine. one amp to the front doors and one for the rear doors. I don't know of any speakers that can take 400W though...

2 two channels will work but why not just use 1 4 channel?? its easier to deal with and less wires

he already has the 2 channels i think?

and i'm guessing they're 800 peak 1 ohm and that's why he didnt have them pushing subs because not very many amps are 1 ohm stable. so 400 peak each channel 1 ohm. 2 ohm 200 each; 4 ohms 100w each. but thats a guess.

what speakers you running inside? type s?

ok i appreciate all your help im a newb with coaxel speakers heres the info on the speakers they are soundstream 3-ways[*]RMS Power (Watts): 150[*]Magnet Weight: 18 oz.[*]Frequency Response: 60-20k[*]Voice Coil Size: 1"[*]Sensitivity: 91db[*]Mounting Depth: 2.36"[*]Powder coated basket[*]Aluminum Coated Cone[*]Rubber Surround[*]BASV Voice Coil[*]Impedance: 4 ohm

here is the stats on the amps

Features:
MOSFET transistor outputs
MOSFET Power Supply
PWM Circuitry
Full Selectable Crossover HI/Full/Low
Three Way Protection Circuit
2-Ohm Stable Stereo
Tri-mode Capable
Variable Low-Pass 40 ~ 250Hz.
Variable Hi-Pass 40 ~ 250Hz. Bass Boost 0 ~ 24dB.
Subsonic Control 30 ~ 175 Kz.
Frequency Response: 10Hz. To 30Khz.
S/N Ratio: 97db.
THD: 0.02%
System Distress Indicator
High/Low Level Inputs with Floating Ground
Platinum RCA and Screw Terminal Connections
Line output
150 watts RMS X 2 @ 4 Ohm Load
180 watts RMS X 2 @ 2 Ohm Load
360 watts RMS X 1 @ 4 Ohm Bridged
800 watts PEAK X 1 @ 4 Ohm Bridged

so would it be 150 watts to each speaker?
