Default Anyone try stealth boxes?

I find it ridiculous to take up all the room of the vehicle and have a huge box with expensive woofers exposed to thieves.

Anyone have any good bass with stealth boxes or custom stealth enclosures?

I like having the cargo room...what is the point of an SUV if you can't haul things??!

you can do what we used to do back in the day in my old neghbourhood (real sh**y 'hood).....install a false floor.

you can actuall make 'em even better now with the shallow mount subs available.

false floor is an idea. or 2 8's or 10's in a tall narrow box with the subs firing up would save some cargo room and no worries about stuff rolling and hitting them

i guess it depends what he considers "good bass" and also what sub he chooses as to what box will work good.

not all subs like ported just as not all subs like sealed

i have a false floor in my truck that is for my amp rack. it could easily be made for a shallow sub. or if you build/bought a box for the right side of the trunk with a grille it would be a great sized box

What is a false floor?

I've never heard the term.
