Default audio help?

i just got a pioneer deh3900mp cd player and im trying to put it in my 98 blazer, i have all the power connections hooked up but i cant get any sound, and after everything is hooked up i still have a dark green wire coming from the blazer? anyone know what to do?

Did you cut into the harness or get a jumper harness

1998 Chevrolet Blazer S-Series Stereo Wiring Information


The dark green wire is for your front passenger side speaker's negative terminal. The link I posted tells you what wires are for what with the stock wiring harness and the picture diagram is for your specific head unit. It sounds like you got some of the wires mixed up and left one out. There is a guy on the forum (altoncustomtech) who knows more about this stuff than anyone I have ever talked to, if what I have posted doesn't help, I would talk to him.
