Default battery terminal

well i got the street wire connector for my side post battery. i had a question and its probably been answered before. what is good to put on your terminals so they wont corrode? like something to protect them. i heard someone say smear vasaline on them but i wasnt sure. holla back at me and let me know guys

Vaseline? Someone is pulling your leg. Lather some anti seize or battery terminal grease on there.

This product is hard to find, but it's fantastic...ZepRestore.

This is what they use on golf carts to protect the black floors and keep them shiny. If you can find this product, I strongly recommend it. It is basically a "clear coat protectant", but it is designed to protect battery terminals.
