Default bolt on the frame???

I'm trying to do the big3 under the hood with 1/0. I did the batt+ to alt AND the engine block to neg-. Im trying to do the batt- to frame, but i can't find a good bolt to mount the wire to. I showed some pictures of under the hood.

Is this a great bolt to mount the wire to? It's on the firewall. I'll scrap the paint off to bare metal. It's about three feet away from the neg-.

The picture of the bolt above on the firewall is one of the grounds for the electrical system, there is also one on the other side, however i'm not sure if it can handle the load of the battery? also, since its already a ground you shouldn't have to scrape the paint off.

on mine there is a bolt on the top side of the frame. Kinda below the battery. There is already a ground going to it. I will try to get a pic of mine tomorrow.

Any benefit of doing this without having amps and subs in the car? I'm going to say no, but I want to get an opinion from someone who knows better.

Thanks for the quick responses fellas. I have done the big3 in 1/0 and still my lights are flickering. Does the ext regulator have to be mounted to frame or can i lay it in the back on the carpet?

It made my blazer start quicker. Doesn't take as much turning of the starter to get it going now. So that's some load off the starter, so that's good. Some people say there is a performance benifit to it, but IDK about that. It's good to do if you EVER plan on adding anything to the electrical system. Stereo, amps, electric fans, aux lights, etc.

Also on my frame on the passenger side there was a drilled hole from the factory with nothing in it. Just got a bolt that was a tad bigger than that opening so it would thread the hole and just ran the grounds there. Worked good so far.
