Default Bose Drivers Side Dash Speaker Died.

I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond Edition that has the Bose Audio system. I noticed the other day that I had no sound coming from the drivers side dash speaker. The drivers side door speaker had sound. I was looking for replacement speakers on ebay and did not find any. I contacted Crutchfield for a recommendation but they had none. But I did note that the non Bose vehicles had 4X6 speakers in the dash. I was trying to research speakers that would be compatible with the Bose 2 Ohm amp. I came across Infinity Reference 6422CF 4X6 speakers that description that they were suitable to use with a 2 Ohm Amp. I purchased the Infinity's and installed one of the speakers in the drivers side and compared the sound volume and quality against the Bose speaker. Volume output was equal to my ears by. Quality of sound is also the same. I am very satisfied with the Infinity's integration with the Bose system. I will also replace the passenger side soon.

The actual impedance rating is 2.7 Ohms the box rounds it up to 3 Ohms
