whats the best brand name for a cd player and whats the best amp too get?

alpine deck or kenwood deck, im happy with my alpine amp but i heard rockford fosgate is good to

I have a pioneer pramier cd player for now. I like alpine they are the best IMO.

I've heard alot of bad things about the reliabilty on the kenwood decks... Pioneer, alpine, jvc and clarion all make pretty nice decks.

i have a jvc head unit and it is fantastic. i bought it because it has an imput on the front that you can plug anything with a headphones jack into....anything from a laptop to an mp3 player and it sounds great....it was pretty cheap too...only 250$ when everything was said and done...circuit city
