what do you guys think of this amp.......or should I still go with the bx1605.....

If it was me I would go with the bx. I didnt think clarion was that good of a company, am I wrong? But I just know hifonics products have good reviews.

clarion is a good company but personally id go with the Hifonics......much better product. i think u would be please with it

yeah, clarion has good in-dash dvd players and thats it, IMO. hifonics has a good rep for being a good amp. i mean, that's what i'm gettin'.

alright.......i like the csa rating........how much power does the bx really put out? It will be going to the R's first in the sealed i have now, then later a crx@32-34hz. Can the R's handel it in a ported? or should i stay sealed cuz of almost double the power going to
them.


also if i buildthe box myself, how do you cut out the holes for the subs?

*edit* did you guys notice it does max power at 1 or 2 ohms....that would be nice......

would go with the HiFonics amp. Use a jig saw for the sub cutouts. or you can get a jig for the cutouts. But I would just take a piece of MDF, 1" strip, and drill a hole in it for piolot and cut it to the radius of the sub cutout and trace a lage circle.

ahhhh, thats kinda what i thought, didnt think it could get too much more technical......now if only i could hide that sawzall on the way out from work
