Default Component systems

My right front speajer is blown, i thought about replacing just that one but i figured i would upgrade the front speakers. A couple of questions, for the tweeters do i just take out the old ones soder the new ones then there good to go? do i need to run better wires? Or do i just hook the new speakers to the old wires and im good?

Was thinkin i would get these. I was also concidering just having them install for 40 bucks more. I know this has been covered just have some questions. Any help greatly appreciated.

if you run those non-amp'd they wont sound much better than the stock.

you can connect them to the stock wiring though.

typically there is a stock crossover soldered to the stock tweeter. If you replace any of the stock speakers, you have to use the crossover that is provided with your component set that you buy.

i think the component set he posted is just like the stock ones, no external crossover included. If he buys a set with a external crossover then he'd have to be worried

The crossover (which is just a capacitor on the stock set and the ones you're wanting to replace the stock set with) is on the connection terminals on the woofer on the Alpines. You'll have to run wire from the woofers to the tweeters, wherever you locate them. Of course, you can chop the wires off the stock tweeter and figure out a way to mount the aftermarket tweeters to the 4x6 plates that the stock tweeters are in.
