Default Confused

I just bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer it has 6 speakers (2 ) in the dash (2) in the front doors and (2) in the rear doors I took the older Pioneer stereo out and put in a newer Pioneer stereo in but with the old and new one I am only hearing the front door speakers ,is there a factory amp in this truck ? I had my new stereo in a 97 Monte Carlo and it sounded awesome however in the Blazer it don't sound so well .Can anybody give me suggestions ?

Take the door panels off and check the speakers, if they're the factory speakers I can say with a fair amount of certainty they're blown. Especially after being on an aftermarket unit, they don't last to start with.

How do/did you and the previous owner have the units wired? Does it have a harness adapter on it or was the factory harness plug cut off? If the factory harness is cut off there's a VERY good possibility that it's not wired correctly. If you've got a harness adapter in it then it's very likely the speakers are shot.
