Here's what i have in the back of my blazer, it's probably biggerthan you want, but it holds two 10's. I've got acargo box built that goes between the sub box and the tailgate, and then a false floor on top of it all. Just needs to be carpeted. Anyways, pics...(not finished yet, but you get the idea):

BTW, are you rblank from the NEA? I'm a delegate from NEZR2
LoL...yeah, that's me. I guess you can say I get around. [sm=bustedsign.gif]

I'm more concerned with sound quality than I am with it just being LOUD for everyone OUTSIDE the truck to hear.

My original thought was to have the subs mounted in about that location, but to have a custom made enclosure that incorporated that space, plus whatever is behind the side panel. I tihnk I can get it to about 1 cu ft per enclosure. The big trick will be sealing the interior of the fenderwell.

The other option I've been thinking is to run the components off of one amp and have a box with a separate amp on disconnects that I can remove when I need the space.

yeahhh, anybody that has a system learns early on that these subs/amps suck: sony, jl, audiopipe, kenwood, audiobahn, and pioneer sucks. and the ones that don't suck are way over-priced and you can get better quality for your money. end of story.

OK, not to sound like an ***, but I need a better explanation than "they suck." Tell me WHY they suck.

And if in fact they do suck who's products should I be looking at? Remember this is not a show or competition system, but the last time I was serious into this Bazooka tubes were brand new. [sm=WTFsgign.gif]
