dB meter
I'm thinking about picking up a decent dB meter... as my brothers doesn't go high enough to measure my Blazer... So I'm looking for decent ones, that are fairly accurate... preferable go higher than 126dB...

TL is the only way to go....no one really accepts scores from anything else

RE: dB meter
I would agree that the Term Lab is the only really reputable meter on the market now, but they are pretty expensive, over 600.

RE: dB meter
only thing with ebay is you gotta find someone selling the mics / software and cables

RE: dB meter
yeah good luck finding one for cheap. I'm the head installer at my car audio shop and we hosted a stereo comp at our place last summer. The things aren't expensive and if you can't find a mic then it's gonna be hard.
