if/ when i put a stereo in my blazer (theres no radio at all asof now) i'll just be making it to be a quality of sound type thing. all new interior speakers (89 2 door) with the 6x9s running off a 2 channel directed audio amp, and 1 10 in the back facnig the back angled up a little bit in a 3cu ft sealed box (kicker cvx) powered by a ssl force1500 monoblock @ 2ohm. so it'll be pushin the sub for all its worth. 10s have great clarity for the most part and the cvx definitely prduces some serious versatility. it can go both ways. tight/clear and really deep and rounded as well. just depends on how you tune it.

i never said 10s sound better. i said "10s have great clarity for the most part" am i wrong? 12s 15s 18s etc are louder and deeper thebigger they get. ofcourse they can play the same notes a 10 can, but it won't be as clear/ tight

I just have a generic sealed box with 2 10" Kenwoods' with the a California 1000 Amp mounted on top. I have wanted to build something a little more stream line like El_Beautor
Here is a link to the picture of my setup.

Well the last statement you made about the 10" sub over a larger diameter sub is false and you should know this if you know what inductance is. This is the reason i ask.

What about the voice coil exactly? Is what you are now saying is that how fast a sub can react and reproduce music notes is dependent on the voice coil and not the size of the cone? Or is what you are saying is that inductance is in the voice coil? Because again this is a incredibly vague statement. Just looking for some clarification here, so i know that you know what you are talking about when it comes to inductance. I am not "bashing" anyone here just making sure proper information is being shared.
