Default enough power?

i am looking on putting some pilot lights on the roof of my 94 4.3L s10 blazer and was wondering if my stock altinator will support 4 more 55 watt light bulbs? if not what is the max, cause i can't realy afford an after market altinator. the discription doesn't tell me how many amps these lights take and i have no idea if there is a conversion factor. so will they work?

Default RE: enough power?

watts = volts x amps

55w/14.4v=3.819amps x4= 15.276amps total

you should be fine. I think Dennis (drperry) has about 1000W of extra lights and there are several people with 1000W+ amps for subwoofers. personally, i have a 750w amp and ~300w 4chan amp
