Default factory amplifier

I have a 2005 chevy blazer xtreme. And i want to upgrade speakers but i want to know if it has a factory amplifier and where? Anybody?

I don't think they have a stock amplifier option. If it does have a factory amp, most aftermarket speakers should be able to handle whatever a stock amp can put out.

The only way you would have a factory amp is if your truck has the Bose factory system. Otherwise all the non-Bose factory stereo systems are only powered by the factory head unit and have no external amplifier.

If you do happen to have the Bose factory system there should be information on here or elsewhere that tells you where it's at and there should also be harnesses available from Metra, Scosche, etc. to bypass it.
