Why FatMat? And why the entire interior? Personally, if I'm going to that much work, it will be Second Skin, or the guy mentioned in the sticky above in this section. And anything over 50% coverage is a waste. Some even say 25%. Load the center of the large flat pannels and be done with the vibration mat. FatMat, Dynamat, etc. are only vibration dampers. They aren't noise barriers.

actually, fat mat, dynamat and what-not keep sound in. by sealing off possibly leaky panels, or panels that echo, it keeps in air pressure, and by doing so, increases the Db, and the overall sound quality. just like foam baffles on the walls of studios, it controls the sound.
plus the only thing that rattles on my blazer is the lift gate and the rear vents. and i'll be using fat-mat because i'm not going to pay that much for mat.

$100 for 100sq ft isn't bad at all.

if you want to completely deaden your truck you might want to go with some ensolite and MLV. i have MLV on the floor on top of my deadening and its quiet like no other.

my truck only rattles when i'm on crappy Detroit roads. system on full doesn't do anything so i'm set

peel n seal, same ****, fraction of the cost, and readily available locally.

on top of what was mentioned it also greatly reduces road noise, helps keep heat/cold in, and is well worth doing even if you dont have bass.

i have e-dead v-1 i think, has held up for 4 years now in canadian climate, still stickin'.

but when i do it again it will be with peel n seal and possibly some rocker guard, cheap cheap.
