These are the subs I have.
They're dual 4-ohms

since you have the dual 4ohm subs, you can either wire them for 1ohm or 4ohms. those subs can not handle a true 1500RMS each so im going to guess you were looking at max specs. Never do that! max specs dont mean anything. I would say get the amp in the link below and run the subs at 1ohm. cnat beat the price with free shipping direct from the company. Excellent customer service too.

Hmm, great price for that amp. I could save more money for the cables and wires and stuff and have more left over. So since my amps run 1000w @ 1 ohm, running this amp at 1 ohm will put the amount of power at its max?
And it doesn't matter how long it is. I'm putting them on the back of my rear bench seat behind the box anyway.

nope....rms means that should be the consistent minimum amount of power at 13.8volts

Hmm, so what would be bad about buying an amp like this or this which obviously runs a lot more watts at 1 ohm? Should I be running somewhere about 1500W at 1 ohm?

Would 2400W on 1 ohm be too much? If I use the subs too often I don't want them frying..and the Cadence amps are like 2 feet long, so strapping two together might be pretty long.

LOL, they dont have to be side by side.......... you probably wont be getting 2400 watts from that amp....
