give me some opinions..
I rocked a crazy setup in hs....
Dual flip down head unit
sony explodes all around 6.5 in the front doors, 5x7 in the back (factory sizes and hidden well)
And then a mtx box with 3 10" subs powered by a small sony amp... wasnt the best ever, but it got the job done... until the headunit started freaking out and opening and closing every ten seconds.... but for roughly 300 bucks about 3 years ago I had a system that was "slightly above average" lol

I had 0 problems with it for the year+ I had it. Then again a year isn't all the long I suppose. I also dont seem to recall it being on the "cheaper side" price wise. But also again, that was when I was naive and shopped at best buy.
Lol... Dual = acceptable... affordable... worked perfectly fine for a poor high school student... lol.... but the mtx subs are currently in my bedroom hooked up to a 70's receiver that is sorta under powered but can get them to shake the walls... and its hooked up in tandem to a set of logitech z5500's which... make everyone in my apartment building cringe...
i hate people like you!
i have a guy under me that just pounds his ****... and about 6 months ago before the guy above me moved out i was in the middle of an earthquake. i ended up holding my sub up to my ceiling full blast at 6 am
as to what to ask for id just ask for amps, thats the most expensive part.
