how restricted are you to the JL brand? i know that the Lanzar Optidrive amps are killer, the 2000D is about $600 but it runs 2000 watts rms at .5 ohm. And HSL has a amp out that is 3000 rms and 5000 peak @ 1 ohm that is supposed to be a beast.

and please get the truck metered. im not saying 145 isnt possible or good, but you said that was the reading in you saab hatchback.a saab hatchback would through very different numbers than a blazer with the same setup.

is ther nething u can put in or do to a ported box to get more db....also if i knocked off these little pieces of wood on the inside of my box wud that help db?...and is there a specific way to wire ur subs into a monoblock amp?, bc i see people do it all kidna of dif ways, like using the pos all the wway to the left with the neg thats all the way to the right...this is how i wired them..is there a better way?

dude i really have no idea...i dont think there dual voice coil...i dont think w7s r dual coils....and im pretty sure each w7 is 2 ohms but not 100%...so ne help on nething to do to make my stereo louder is GREATLY APPRICIATED

the 12 w7's are single voice coil only...and are 3 ohms....

Just wire it parralel.

That will give you a 1 ohm load on a 2ohm sub.

 

the subs are 3 ohm....so it would be 1.5 ohm btw

 

this is why i hate jl -_-


they cant put out a normal ohm load!

yea its set. wired to 1.5 will still give 1k
