Hey all.... I'm new to this forum and i hope someone can help me. I'm trying to install an amp and sub in my 97 blazer 4dr, and i know everything works, except i can't find a decent location to connect the ground for my amp, and i'm not getting power. Can anyone offer suggestions please???

put your back seats down. lift up the cover that folds down. On Drivers side there is a 19mm bolt on the floor, right near the frame of the seat, use that, take bolt off, and put ring terminal there (after sanding it down) and bolt it down

The remote wire is more than big enough, there's not a whole lot of power going through it...
What guage power wire did you use?

make sure that you have power at the amp on both B+ and remote, then check your sub wiring and make sure that it is ok, on some amp if you drop the impedance, it will go into protect. Whap amp do you have???
What subs do you have, need model number and voice coil config to make sure everything is kosher.

Best advise, disconnect everything from the amp except Power B+, Ground - , and Remote +. The turn on the head unit and see if the amp turns on! If not it is quite possible you have your + and - switched, you are not getting a solid 12V or worse, your amp is no good!
