Default HD RADIO

Personally I'm not interested but todayI heard an add from crutchfield claiming that it was the clearest sounding radio ever. Does anyone had HD radio? How well does it work?

The HD radio stations are a great deal cleaner, but there arent that many HD radio stations yet, all depends on your location. Check out www.hdradio.com for local HD stations

I have a JVC kd-hdr1. Besides being an excellent head unit, it is the only HU I know of with built in HD radio. It also gets multicast (extra channels). The sound is WAY better and sometimes I get broadcasts in surround sound. It's funny to see the station ID and track information scrolling across the disply. Aroundmy area are 30 channels of HD and most of them have less commercials than the regular FM ones. To me it's worth it.
