ok sorry for the dramatics but i have a question,,,today i had a cd7100 installed that replaced my clarion dvd player,,while the mids and highs are sounding sooooo much better my sub sounds like crap,,it sounded better with the clarion,,anyone have any experience with this deck that maybe im missing something on the sub part? like where to set the eq and stuff,,i have an indash eq but the only sub options on it are hz, low,and boost.

is your amp using its onboard crossover? are you using the crossover on your deck at the same time? where is you sub lowpassed? How did you set the gain on your sub amp?

im using the crossover on the amp and i set the gains with a dmm

if you can bypass the crossover on all of your amps and use the crossover on the deck, you will be MUCH better off. what is your current crossover set to for the sub?
