hi's low's and mid's
I was wondering what exactly your hi's, low's, and mid's do when your adjusting your equalizers. Also this is probably a very stupid question but just how hard is it to blow your subwoofers, saying you have 2 12's 1000 watts each?

really depends on if you have factory equipment, set it til it sounds good to you. you are the only one that matters. I do this stuff all day, but i never set someones eq, that is up to them and their tastes.
As for second question, pretty easy, if you have a cheap amp and are trying to compensate and are cranking the gain up.

I was wondering howI could set it up to whereI can hear it the best but keep as much base away from my door speakers that I can. Also I had a question about how hard it is to remove the door panels to get to the door speakers on a 2000 trailblazer.

stil dont know if you have a factory HU or aftermarket. really only way is with an aftrermarket deck, and you can set up the HPF to take the lower end out of the music.
Doors are really easy. three screws and some panel clips. thats it.

It's a sony aftermarket, and for some reason my ipod seems to be much louder on it rather than just a CD.

not sure on the loudness issue, but look to see if you have a HPF on your deck.

if your concerned with your door speakers blowing get a pair with a crossover or use bass blockers.
I've been beating the s^#t outta my R's for almost 3 years. As soon as you hear them make sounds their not supposed too.....turn it down

Would you consider getting voices out of your subwoofers or no? Does it make a difference to the bass your subwoofers get by doing this?

high notes can hurt your subs in the long run. turn LPF on and set the crossover around 70 and you will be rewarded with nice bass
