I'm not sure man I haven't had the time to do any investigating on mine really. Mines had bad reception since the day I bought it with the stock stereo and my pioneer head unit. So its either wiring or antenna I have to assume.

look @ your cable guys.

i've seen the cables get rotten @ the connection down at the firewall, and also in the fender where it goes into the base.

Yeah that's the plan when time permits. Busy with school and trying to get a job for now.
