Default Installing new speakers in front door

I bought a pair of JVC CS-FS6 speakers and I did good at first. I installed the tweeter and flush mounted it. It looks great. I'll attach pics later. Then I screwed up. I didn't check to see if the 6 1/2 mounting depth. DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now do I return the speakers or just cut a hole in the original door panel where the speaker grill is? Front the top of the speaker to the bottom of the magnet is 59cm.

Too late. I cut out the grill and used the mounting parts that came with the speaker. I'll take pics and post.

Here's my bed so I'm sleeping in it now. The tweets were put right where the circle in the sound deadening was already cut out. Fits like a glove. Now to see if the whole thing fits in the door.

Not really going for imaging, just making the stock blazer sound a bit better really.
